Vittorio Di Leva – About the Artist

Vittorio Di Leva, born on June 9, 1957, in Marina di Puolo near Naples, is an Italian painter with a passion for art since childhood. He studied at the Art Institute in Sorrento and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Initially focused on landscapes in the Neapolitan style, he transitioned to realist painting after meeting hyperrealist artist Michele Di Maio.

Throughout his career, he collaborated with other realist painters and participated in various exhibitions, receiving awards and recognition, including from the Mondadori Art magazine and artists like Aligi Sassu and Enrico Baj. He taught art in schools from 1984 until his retirement in 2019.

Now retired, Di Leva continues to paint and exhibit his works internationally. He lives and works in Paruzzaro, Italy, and his paintings are held in both public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
